Created in the Qing Dynasty, this enamel-embedded drum stool is made of red sandalwood. It is 52 centimeters in height and 28 centimeters in diameter at the top. The stool is shaped like a waist drum and the diameter of the top is similar to that of the bottom.

There are two lines of black patterns engraved in both the top and the bottom, with protruding buttons carved in relief to symbolize the nails fastening the drum skin. There are six segments adorned with curling grass patterns between the black patterns, with each segment embedded with an enamel piece with one-legged dragon design. The middle of the drum stool is adorned with six polished areas shaped like Chinese flowering crabapples intertwining with each other. In addition, red sandalwood boards are embedded inside the polished areas, with cloud-motif rings engraved on the edge and enamel pieces with bat and floral motifs at the center.

With intricate design and reasonable structure, this drum stool is of high artistic values.
